Lady Leshurr is unquestionably the UK’s new Queen of Rap. In the past twelve months, millions have pledged an oath of allegiance to the 27 year old rapper through her ‘Queen’s Speech’ series (currently at one hundred and fifty million views on YouTube, and counting), she’s sold out shows from New York to Brixton, featured in RollingStone & Vogue, and starred in Samsung’s Super Bowl advert.

Lady Leshurr grew up in Birmingham, where the scattered musical tastes of her family and peers impressed themselves on her. Her mother played reggae around the house, her brother would blast drum’n’bass and garage, and her sister was into R&B and hip-hop; Leshurr’s music directly reflects all of these influences. Since releasing her debut mixtape at fourteen, Leshurr has released nine more mixtapes, three EPs, and acted in the British film ‘1 Day’; her appetite for work in voracious.

In 2016, Lady Leshurr won the MOBO Award for Best Female Act, as well as the 2019 BMA for Best Rap/Grime Artist. She released her second studio album ‘Quaranqueen’ in 2020.
