Soho Revue Gallery

Known for her passion in the artistic industries, India Rose James opened her first art gallery back in 2015. With the aim to help build a creative community, support emerging artists, and provide a platform in which to allow them to showcase their work in one of London’s most desirable postcodes, James created Soho Revue, a space renowned for showcasing emerging art in the heart of Soho.

After just a year running the Soho Revue Gallery, India moved the gallery to a temporary location on Walkers Court whilst its home at 14 Greek Street underwent an impressive renovation. Six years later, with the addition of four new levels of basement and some beautiful restorative work to its Grade-II listed bones, The Soho Revue gallery is delighted to have moved back into part of a new 325,000 square foot development in the heart of the capital.

Designed as a gallery but also a place for workshops, a print studio, art classes, film screenings and private events, this Grade II listed 4 story townhouse has become a creative hub once again. The Soho Revue gallery, now in its larger site, regularly hosts artists in residence, workshops, life drawing classes, film screenings, talks, private dinners and many more original events. The gallery aims to nurture and support the creative community Soho is so well known for.

India plans to open up these studios to UK and international students in need of a short-term leases. Joining India and her team on their mission is Charlie Siddick, who has been brought in to help curate the programme of events.
