Kelvin Fletcher
Kelvin Fletcher is an actor, TV personality, and motor racing driver.
He is best known for his portrayal of Andy Sugden in ITV's Emmerdale, where he starred for over twenty years. During his time on the show, Kelvin received numerous nominations and wins at the British Soap Awards, including Best Actor, Best Dramatic Performance, and Scene of the Year.
Kelvin's recent TV credits include Teacher, Moving On, Death in Paradise, and The Shore. He has also appeared in Chiller, Heartbeat, Cracker, and Three Seven Eleven. In addition to his acting career, Kelvin presented Springtime on the Farm.
In 2019, Kelvin joined the competition as a late entrant on Strictly Come Dancing and made it to the final, ultimately being crowned the Strictly Champion and taking home the coveted Glitterball trophy.
Outside of his acting career, Kelvin has a passion for cars and ventured into motor racing in 2012. He has competed in various championships, including Porsche Carrera Cup, BTCC, and British GT. In 2019, he was crowned GT4 champion and currently races with Bentley in the Bentley Continental GT3 in British GT.
In 2022, Kelvin starred in the hit BBC One documentary series, Kelvin's Big Farming Adventure, which followed him and his family as they embarked on a new life on a 120-acre farm in the Peak District. Kelvin also showcased his acting talents on the stage of the National Theatre in a performance of Jack Absolute Flies Again alongside Caroline Quentin, and participated in the British GT Championship and served as a judge on Britain's Fittest Farmer, advocating for mental health within the farming community.
This year, Kelvin, along with his wife Liz, returns to our screens with Fletchers Family Farm on ITV.
